Thanks
to the commitment of my son-in-law, Matt Boyle, Cold Spring Tree Farm
is in the process of expanding and improving our 41 year family
tradition of offering choose and cut Christmas trees. We will have more
trees available this year than last but will still see fewer trees as
compared to years past. However, our increased spring plantings the
last two years will steadily bring our production up well beyond our
former numbers in the years to come.
In the
hope of maintaining your loyal patronage until that reality occurs, we
have decided to provide some precut trees acquired from my seedling
provider of over 35 years to augment our ability to provide a high
quality tree for your home and also allow us to maintain our commitment
to your traditional experience of visiting our farm again this year.
The
precut trees fully meet our standards and may to some of our customers
be a welcomed alternative to cutting your own while still allowing us to
share your company while you collect your photos from past years, enjoy
a walk at the farm and a cup of hot cider while you do.
As
per our tradition, we will be open the Saturday after Thanksgiving
November 29 and, depending on availability, Sunday, November 30.
Additionally,
this year we will have around 15 large (10’-15’) spruce trees suitable
for large indoor areas or outdoor display. These trees are clearly
marked and will be cut by our staff by request. Any interested
customers are welcome to preview these trees before November 29 by
calling me (920-723-7545) to arrange a time that’s convenient to those
interested.
